Flea Pilot Gets FIRST Animation TEST.

Hey Guys,

Well this test is a long time coming.....I've been trying to get my paws on this puppet since he first was painted.......

BUSY!!!

So after not animating for a good few months and shel's going camping with Aedon and some of her friends.....I took the opporotunity to shake the rust off the hands and give this puppet a work out.

I found out.......... I can still animate....Phhfffffeeew. Funny how quickly I doubt my stopmo animation skills. It really is like rideing a bike.....you dont forget the craft.also......NEVER shoot with a tripod that is broken.....your just asking for Heart ache. I had more to this animation than I'm shareing but my tripod Dropped horribly in the last leg of the creation of this.....

I had to quit....and will have to finish the last bit of this piece on a later occasion....consider this the first 2/3 of the piece.

hope ya likes it....its been way too long since I got to post some animation on our blog.

Good Lord! Love the detail and the animation as usual, astonishingly great! Can't wait for this one!

wow! WOW! you really are skilled at this. I love how I can recognize the powerful JRiggity flavor of motion in it. Keep it up!

Justin, your skills are unreal. The walk is the walk that creature would have. The detail is incredible. No wasted movement, just what's needed for the action/character.

Nice! Great sense of weight, and nice staging, very appealing test. When you get your stop-mo studio up and running, I'm in!! :)

Nice jop Justin, great use of weight! I know exactly how you feel about doubting your stopmo animation skills when you haven't animated for a while. ;D

Wonderful!!!! Amazing!!!! So, another film is coming to get all of the awards out there.

That is really captivating animation, full of expression, life. Feature film quality animation, truly. Just awesome! What sort of armature is inside that guy? You're getting some really subtle, controlled stuff. Ball and socket? If it's a homemade, basic wire armature, I'm going to shoot myself.

This is really superb animation, and it's only a TEST. Think I'll shoot myself anyway.

whoooa..just wicked. Makes me want to get back on a set. Nothing like the stopmotion for that intense connection with the puppet and it's environment.

I should be angry at you for being so flippin good, but I hold back my tears and try to show forgiveness.

LOVE IT!

Your animation comes to life..the character becomes real with such fluid motion. A work of beauty.

Love the look and feel of these new characters as well.

I love the little jump he does while taking off the helmet.

Wow, this is really good. The music sounds familiar, but it worked well with this snippet. I'm sorry the tripod cost you more animation for you to show, as i would have really loved to see it. I like the personality of this guy already!

I am an CG animator and I can't believe that this is a stop motion. Your next film will rock. I love it
